Senior Project Manager – Pricing

We are the Flutter UK & Ireland Trading Team- we predict the unpredictable, we think different, and put our customers first, through innovative solutions and powering the performance of our brands Paddy Power, Betfair and Sky Betting & Gaming. This Project Manager role is based in the pricing function, which is a high performing team responsible for the delivery of new pricing strategies across the Flutter UKI brands.

What you’ll do...
Reporting to the Flutter UKI Pricing Director, you will be responsible for overseeing pricing projects, ensuring they are well resourced and are meeting the desired objectives and timelines. 

You will work within the UKI Trading function, connecting with colleagues from across the organisation to coordinate projects aimed at solving complex pricing problems.

How you will do it....

• Oversee the entire process for a range of commercial initiatives (business decisions, experiments and trials), ensuring smooth operation from the initial inception through to successful execution
• Manage project scope and change control processes, ensuring that any changes to requirements or objectives are accurately evaluated, detailed, and communicated to the Pricing Director for approval.
• Coordinate and manage team activities, ensuring effective workload and capacity management to improve efficiency and meet project objectives.
• Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate against them through risk assessments, risk management planning and risk monitoring
• Manage the detailed recording and preservation of internal knowledge pertaining to the project, ensuring that all pertinent information is accurately captured and easily accessible.
• Provide day-to-day support to project teams, addressing any issues or concerns, offering mentorship, and facilitating problem-solving to ensure smooth project execution.
• Serve as a liaison between the project team and various brands, encouraging positive connections and facilitating effective communication and collaboration.

What we’re looking for:

• Strong ability to develop comprehensive project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements
• Ability to lead and manage project teams, including assigning tasks, coordinating activities, and fostering collaboration and effective communication among team members
• Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, develop risk management plans, and proactively address potential issues that may impact project success
• Proficiency in various project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, or Kanban, and the ability to apply them appropriately to different projects
• Experience and familiarity with project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello, or Asana, to effectively plan, track, and manage project tasks and resources
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences
• Ability to manage multiple topics simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborative approach, capable of establishing strong and effective relationships with colleagues in the Pricing team and throughout the organization at all levels.
• Ideally, experience managing pricing initiatives or experiments/trials (e.g. A/B tests on a website) through to completion
• Ideally proficient in data manipulation and analysis
