Description





WTW is seeking a Property Portfolio Manager to oversee a growing property portfolio, influencing the development and implementation of strategies and business solutions. Has clear commercial awareness, negotiation skills and an ability to build durable Broker/Insurer relationships.

The Role



  • Identification of opportunities for profitable growth and an understanding of market trends and developments.

  • Providing valued insight and proposals for improved portfolio performance, including tactical actions to address emerging risks and challenges in an appropriate and timely manner.

  • Provides technical underwriting expertise and guidance. 

  • Handles a range of queries and referrals within agreed authority limits.

  • Assists with delivery of technical training programs and the support of mentoring activities.

  • Contribute to development of technical underwriting standards, controls, practices and procedures.

  • Control & maintenance of underwriting guidelines.








Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Relevant professional designation (minimum CIP).
  • 5+ Years of experience in General Commercial Insurance with a bias towards Property Insurance.
  • Clear understanding of the property insurance markets.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office Suites in particular excel.
  • Must also demonstrate good interpersonal, organisational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, pay attention to detail and thrive in an environment that is always changing.
