Who we're looking for




We’re seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our team to own and drive a new initiative to deliver payment processing capability for eCommerce merchants along with continued improvements to our core Global Account product.


 


You will be working closely with Product Managers, Product Designers, Engineers, Data Analysts and interfacing directly with key business stakeholders. Reporting to the Head of Product, you will be given the freedom to make decisions with the corresponding responsibility and accountability that comes with this.


 


This role leverages a dynamic hybrid work approach, with 3 days per week spent collaborating in-office to drive maximum productivity and innovation.

Responsibilities


 



  • Build out and enhance the payment processing product

  • Support further enhancement of core product functionality (onboarding, multi-currency accounts, cross-border payments, cards and expense management)

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and synthesise requirements imparting your own knowledge, insights and market research

  • Utilise data insights, from product analytics and collaborating with the Data Analytics team, to deliver the most impactful and highest value features

  • Advocate for and drive experimentation to move the needle and prove value creation

  • Create and refine high quality epics and stories with direct involvement from squad leads across Product Management, Product Design and Engineering to bring very well defined stories to Refinement

  • Maintain a prioritised backlog of both features and bug fixes in collaboration with the squad leads and Head of Product

  • Proactively participate in all Scrum ceremonies

  • Ensure there are sufficient prioritised stories brought to Refinement sessions to maximise squad output

  • Ensure stories are clarified during Refinement and all questions raised are answered

  • Verify that features developed match what was defined in the stories and provide feedback to the respective Engineers if not.

  • Contribute to the product roadmap


 


Minimum requirements





  • 6+ years of experience in Product Management

  • Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience or training

  • Excellent written and good spoken English skills

  • Experience working in cross-functional product teams, Scrum, agile, and product-led

  • Fintech or related industry experience

  • Payment processing or acquiring experience



Bonus





  • Experience working in the SMB (small, medium business) domain such as neobank targeting this market.

  • Shopping cart experience in relation to payment processing

  • Experience working with multi-currency accounts, cross-border payments, multi-currency cards or expense management and accounting integrations
