This is an exciting opportunity to join our Product Strategy and Innovation-division as an Epic Requirement Owner (agile terminology for PBA) for the Cash domain


In this role, you will work closely with the Product Managers in the Market Liquidity department.


Amongst other initiatives impacting the Cash and Banking area, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the Cash modernization Program. You will also be requested to analyse if market changes (Swift & T2 releases, change in Cashco’s -including Central Banks - requirements, etc) require IT developments or changes in processes.  


We will help you develop further business knowledge and further maturity/experience in the definition of solutions and soft skills (out of the box thinking, work in dynamic teams, transversal overview, agile way of working). 
 


Your role is key to 



  • Understand and align your stakeholder’s needs (Operations, Clients, Product managers, Commercial and Network) 

  • define the most efficient scope and, in collaboration with the agile teams and architects, ensure the solution to deliver focusses on the true demand and is aligned with market practice

  • ensure accurate documentation of business requirements (including the production of structured business processes, NFR’s & CARDI log) to be used by IT (GBS primarily) and other stakeholders

  • help to prioritize the different scope items to optimize the business value, taking into consideration market deadlines, dependencies, client & operational impacts and IT capacity (MVP approach)

  • lead changes in the scope: ensure end-to-end impacts are taken into consideration and the different business stakeholders understand and are aligned on the scope evolution and solution

  • perform the risk assessment of the service evolutions in coordination with Operations, Risk, Compliance and Legal and acquire approval from the relevant committees

  • prepare client documentation such as service descriptions, newsletters and contracts

  • provide support to the migration and commercial teams for new client onboarding (including contacts with clients where relevant)


 


 Qualifications



  • Business and/or technical knowledge in the cash/payment domain 

  • Proven experience (min of 8 years) as Business Analyst 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiies, including: (1) structuring problems and transitioning between high-level overviews and detailed analysis (2) leading efforts to resolve issues; and (3) drawing conclusions and making recommendations 

  • Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the capability to work independantly, coordinate and prioritise tasks, and provide guidance prioritizing work within Agile teams

  • Proficient in managing and persuading both internal and external stakeholders, with strong communication skills, including influencing and negotiating 

  • High level of autonomy and drive, with a collaborative team spirit 

  • Quick learner with sound judgement

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, fluent in English

  • Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus

  • Experience in ISO 20022 would be an advantage.
