About the Team & Business Line: 

Private Equity IT are currently looking to fill an internship position to cover a six month period for the assistance with development and maintenance of strategic financial systems. The individual in this position will participate in the development and support of multiple client-facing and internal business systems.

This position reports to the local Private Equity IT Manager. Citco IT is a global team of IT professionals that are responsible for the development and support of IT applications. The candidate will interact closely with the PE IT team and business analysts, as well as QA teams and other technical groups and resources within Citco.

Your Role: 

• Involved with junior-level development and maintenance in.NET Core, according to development best practices and current development technologies
• Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of the Test Automation framework used to verify application developments
• Provide support for database schema and functionality development (MS SQLServer)
• Assist with design and completion of report and data extract development
• Contribute technically to the wider PE IT initiatives to migrate solutions to AWS

About You:

• Interest in technologies and self-learning
• Experience of Docker, Containerization, AWS / Azure / GC
• Some programming experience in Java or .NET development 
• Experience of Selenium, Postman, JMeter and / or other test automation technologies
• Exposure to database technologies, Oracle, SQLServer, MySQL, etc.
• Able to construct of SQL queries, including tables joins and set operations 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to deal effectively in a team environment
• Willing to do application development, test automation development, report development and/or application maintenance depending on needs
• Contributed to a team based project
• Contributed to a project outside of exam requirements
• Presentation experience
