We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Junior/Medior Software Developer to join our Smart Places and Things/IOT Services (SPT) team at DXC Technology. The SPT offering plays a critical role in enabling businesses to leverage 'real world' data and information through the seamless integration of connected devices into their operational ecosystems.
DXC SPT covers three focus areas:
• Smart Manufacturing – helping customers on their journey to Industry 4.0
• Defense @Simulation – providing customers with life like simulators e.g. to train students sailing a ship
• Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) – delivering traffic management, traffic enforcement, border control, smart cities etc to customers.
Within our Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) focus area, you will play a key role in supporting the Dutch Public Ministry to maintain and enforce traffic safety through innovative Analytics and Engineering solutions. Specifically, you will contribute to the delivery of average speed and spot speed enforcement platforms with connected IoT sensors to ingest roadside data, perform analytics, and provide high-quality ticket information, evidence, and dashboards to the Central Fine and Collection agency.
This role focuses on developing high-quality software solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients across various industries. As part of our team, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of software systems, with a particular emphasis on modern programming languages.
