About the job


As a Fluorinated Greenhouse Gas (F-Gas) Analyst, you will be part of our European team. The aim to provide liquidity into the hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) related markets. You will use your analytical skills to untangle crucial information from complicated regulations and  provide the team with market insight and business opportunities.




Responsibilities



  • Navigate F-Gas related regulations in order to understand best practices of import physical HFC and the related Quota scheme;

  • Create new business opportunities for Sales Traders based on the knowledge acquired;

  • Stay updated on market trends, including regulatory constraints and opportunities related to F-Gas markets;

  • Develop trading strategies based on market insights and price forecasting;

  • Manage and maintain a comprehensive database.


 


About you



  • Knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning sectors or technical gases;

  • Knowledge of the EU & UK F-Gas quotas/authorizations principles is considered an advantage;

  • Understanding of the necessary procedures to import HFC gases into the European Union;

  • General capacity of disentangle crucial information from complicated regulations;

  • Completed Master’s degree in Economics, Finance or Econometrics;

  • Legal background is a considered a plus;

  • Excellent communication in English.
