Principal Duties:

• Lead and mentor a dedicated team of professional chefs.
• Design menus that highlight the best and freshest local ingredients from Surreys trusted suppliers.
• Manage culinary operations across several dining settings:
  • A lively bar and lounge that serves specialty coffee and snacks during the day and transforms into a vibrant spot for creative cocktails by evening.
  • A sophisticated yet informal restaurant known for its modern British fare and a curated wine selection
  • In-Room Dining services that cater to guests preferring the privacy of their accommodations.
• Guarantee the highest standards in both taste and presentation of all dishes.
• Oversee kitchen management, including budgeting, inventory control, and maintaining supplier relations.
• Maintain and elevate the hotels reputation for culinary distinction.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated capability as a Head Chef in a high-quality, à la carte dining setting, leading a compact chef team.
• A hands-on approach to cooking, frequently seen leading the pass.
• A deep appreciation for European and British cuisines, along with a keen sense of current food trends.
• Outstanding leadership and communication abilities.
• Creative flair in menu conception and plating.
• Robust organizational and managerial skills.
