Purpose:


The role of the Fraud Senior Analyst is to work as a skilled senior analyst on the day to day running of Fraud Operations. This role will be a subject matter expert on Fraud and Payments Operations and will help will lead the function for Retail inMotion.




Context:


Retail inMotion’s Payment products are the heart of our value offering for Airlines. From our core payment engine, to our payments integration library, Retail inMotion offer online and offline PCI DSS Payment services which represent the backbone of our customers ancillary revenue programs.




In the last year we have seen a 200% increase in our payment infrastructure. This growth gives us the confidence and need to ensure we have an effective payment operations organisation supporting the delivery of payments. It is with this in mind RiM are looking for a Fraud Senior Analyst.




The Fraud Senior Analyst plays a key role in monitoring and developing best in class fraud prevention policies across all Retail inMotion airline partners.  The role involves a high level of attention to detail and the successful candidate will have great autonomy in shaping the function itself. The Fraud Senior Analyst will oversee the day-to-day fraud prevention operation to ensure industry leading performance and compliance by handling complex escalations and identifying fraud trends autonomously.




Responsibilities:   



  • Work closely with the Head of Payment Operations to maintain operational policies, procedures, and service level agreements in order to ensure consistent operational performance and high-quality results.

  • Establish and own Fraud KPIs across the company’s portfolio of airlines.

  • Consult with the major schemes and industry bodies on measures to actively prevent fraud within the industry.

  • Conduct daily reviews of risk reporting to detect, prevent and mitigate fraudulent or suspicious activity, raising issues with the relevant account managers where necessary.

  • Provide inbound support for customer fraud, payment inquiries, and escalations.

  • As necessary, assist with ad hoc fraud and payment escalations, investigations, related projects/assignments, and cross-functional support.

  • Identify and document any training or knowledge gaps within the Fraud and Payments Operations team.

  • Act as a liaison between the Fraud & Payments function and account management

  • Work with the team to ensure that tasks are prioritized at an operational and efficient level.

  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders such as Finance, Customer Support, Product, Technology, and payment and fraud providers.

  • Perform all related and compatible duties as assigned and assist in ad hoc projects.




Skills & Experience:



  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in payments and fraud, preferably in the airline industry



  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a related field preferred 



  • Knowledge of relevant payment methods, fraud schemes and categories, and common fraud prevention strategies and systems.



  • An understanding of Anti-Money Laundering detection methods and regulations



  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Word), including a strong understanding of Microsoft Excel Functions (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.) and TSQL a must.



  • Strong written, communication, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.




Competencies:



  • Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders at various levels across multiple business units.

  • Passionate fraud fighter with yeas of experience analysing payment data.

  • Knowledge of metric building and creation of dashboards to track such metrics.

  • Product Management skills a plus.
