Data Modeler/Functional Analyst

For our key client in Brussels we are looking for a senior Data Modeler/Functional Analyst. 

PROFILE: Data Modeler / Functional Analyst

Must have:

• 5+ year experience with Dimensional Data Modelling (Kimball,
  star schemas)


• 5+ year experience in the domain of Business Intelligence


• 5+ year experience in the insurance sector in the different domains
  Non Life, Life.

Should have:

-              3+ year experience with the gathering and the assessment of business
requirements

Strong in functional analysis, design & documentation

-             
Being able to work in team and with near-shore developers

-             
Being able to facilitate workshops with the business users

-             
Proactive thinker and problem solver

-             
Good Communication skills in English

Nice to have:

-             
Experience with data mapping and the design of ETL jobs

-             
Experience with testing in BI environments

-             
Experience in a SAS environment

 MAIN TASKS

1. Data Modeler role:  Defining the Business Matrix and designing
   the conceptual & physical data models (Kimball star schemas)


2. Functional analyst role: Collecting and understanding business
   requirements and making ETL designs
