Your team and your responsibilities

Team/division description

 

Market Contribution Management (MCM) team is part of Sales and Marketing Function. Our mission is to support Sales Group’s profit results achievements and to enhance our affiliated and private distributors profit performance (covering 30 markets in Europe).

 

Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Understand the business situation and set effective guidelines for profit procurement and cost reduction activities.
  • Supply financial information in a timely manner to ensure target achievement & support decision making.

 

Your project

 

  • Data management: Profit data creation and governance.
  • Reporting: Effective tracking/ analysis and reporting to steer profit performance. Continuously improve the reporting processes (potential automation/ centralisation), considering other stakeholders involved.
  • System management: Current MCM database management and contribute to the implementation of the new MCM governance system. 

Your Profile

  • You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
  • Education: Master’s studies in Economics, International Business, Industrial Financial Management, Commercial/Management Engineering.
  • Advanced knowledge of data/reporting tools (dynamic update) - any knowledge of VBA for Excel or Power BI is a plus
  • Highly developed ability to be critical with facts and figures – enjoy working with numbers and manipulating several data sources 
  • Ability to plan your work according to deadlines
  • Self-starter attitude, taking initiative and not afraid of responsibility
  • Sense of ownership and confidentiality
  • Positive attitude to resolve any issues with Customer First mindset
  • Mature interpersonal skills supporting smooth consensus building

  •  01/10/2024 - Before January 2025

Confidentiality

Due to business requirement, not all performed projects can be reflected in the internship report. This issue needs to be discussed with candidate/school in advance.

 

It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.

 

We can only accept students with an EEA or Swiss citizenship (not requiring a work permit or visa to be eligible to perform an internship in Belgium)
