Veterinary Surgeon – Orthopaedics That Make an Impact

We’re looking for a vet with a special interest in orthopaedics – whether you’re certificate-holding or have plenty of practical experience under your belt. This role isn’t just about keeping things ticking over. You’ll be stepping into a service that’s already thriving and helping take it to the next level.

The caseload is varied and engaging – think cruciate repairs (TPLO/CCWO ideally, though we’re happy to support you if TTA is more your thing), patella luxations, and everything from straightforward to complex fractures. If you love surgery and want to keep developing, you’ll be right at home.

You don’t have to know it all:

If you’re passionate about orthopaedics but still developing in certain areas, that’s okay. We’ll provide the support and training to help you grow into the role with confidence.

Your week at a glance:

4-day week (40 hours)

Hours: 8am–7pm

No weekends, no bank holidays

On-call rota only for inpatient care – no out-of-hours emergencies
