Global Fund Operations: Service Quality and Improvement (SQ&I)


 


Position Description

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking for a new challenge and exposure to Global Fund Operations Management. In this position, you will primarily support the change, risk, and quality management capabilities of CFCL Global Fund Operations. You will have the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of both departmental support activities and strategic projects.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical, critical thinking, and creative capabilities and a proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks, independently and collaboratively.

We are looking for a person with a versatile skillset who can adapt to new environments and challenges. The role may expand beyond both the advertised role and Team/ Unit depending on the Company’s needs. Training and on-going assistance will be provided, and you will be fully supported as you transition into the role.


 


 Key Responsibilities



  • Production of management reporting for Global Funds Operations 

  • Management of corporate requests including intercompany, outsourcing and risk assessments ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal policies

  • Tracking of departmental audit findings and provision of assistance to operational teams in the risk mitigation process.

  • Participation, as required, in the assessment of the impact of regulatory changes in collaboration with the dedicated business area

  • Review and resolution of MIFID reporting “business” related errors

  • Assistance with coordination and review of the Departmental Business Continuity Plans

  • Tracking of departmental claims and operational incidents 

  • Quality control and review of corporate documents (e.g., Standard Operating Procedures) to ensure compliance with company standards.

  • Engagement in priority projects as required. Working independently or with the support of a specific team and/or SME groups

  • Key advocate in promoting and driving our Company culture, ensuring that the four pillars are at the forefront in our approach to processes and projects


 


Summary of Key Competencies required for the position

  • Confident communicator with the ability to build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders at all levels

  • Experience, Qualifications & Background Ideally Required 

  • Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in an international Financial Services industry environment, Big Four or similar

  • Good command of MS Office applications – particularly MS Excel, Powerpoint 

  • The ability to collate, summarise, and analyse data and experience of using associated visualisation tools would be an advantage e.g., PowerBI, Tableau

  • Knowledge of Clearstream Investment Funds systems, processes and services is a strong advantage
