About the role

An exciting opportunity has opened for a Senior Automation Test Analyst to join our Information Systems department. In the role, the successful candidate will: 

  • Define and Redefine the acceptance criteria for each User Story and create relevant automated test cases and BDD Scenarios
  • Ability to create and implement an automation framework
  • Experienced in automating Performance, Integration, Load testing, REST and Black/White Box Testing
  • Scripting or programming languages such as Python and Java
  • Good working knowledge of Linux/Unix
  • Ability to identify new automated solutions
  • Tracking and managing the resolution of issues generated during testing.
  • Providing timely status and project updates to test team and business stakeholders
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to Interrogate the underlying databases to extract test data and execute SQL statements to prove test results.
  • Tools - such as JIRA, Test Rail, JMeter, SQL, Selenium, RFT.


Requirements

About you

We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills: 

  •  Minimum 5 years’ experience in structured Financial testing.
  • Experienced in using a variety of testing frameworks such as Rest Assured and Selenium
  • Version Control-such as GIT
  • Experience on testing financial or stockbroking systems essential
  • Confident self-starter works on own initiative without supervision.
  • Experience using various testing tools and completing POC’s (Proof of Concepts)
  • Strong SQL knowledge is essential for this role.
  • Good communication skills and ability to liaise with key stakeholders.
  • Confident self-starter works on own initiative without supervision.
  • ISTQB Certification an advantage IT Degree in Computer Science or related discipline required
