Product Development Manager

SASMAR is currently seeking a talented and experienced Product Development Manager to join our team. With our development based in Brussels, Belgium, and operations in Sydney, Hong Kong, Mumbai, Malta, London, and Chicago, we are a fast-growing pharmaceutical company that specializes in personal care and fertility products, including our renowned Conceive Plus brand. Our products are distributed in over 70 countries through various channels such as supermarkets, clinics, hospitals, pharmacies, and drugstores.

As a Product Development Manager at SASMAR, you will be responsible for managing the entire product development process, from ideation to launch. You will lead cross-functional teams and collaborate closely with R&D, Marketing, and Operations to bring innovative and high-quality products to market.

Responsibilities

• Lead the product development process from concept to commercialization.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify consumer needs and trends.
• Manage the product development timeline, budget, and resources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Marketing, and Operations, to develop innovative and competitive product concepts.
• Create and maintain product specifications, including formulation, packaging, and labeling requirements.
• Oversee product testing, including stability testing, performance testing, and consumer trials.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing products and make recommendations for improvements or enhancements.
• Stay updated with market trends and competition to identify opportunities for new product development and portfolio expansion.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Pharmaceutical Science, Chemistry, or Business.
• Proven experience in product development, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to product development and commercialization.
• Experience in market research, trend analysis, and consumer insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Creative mindset and ability to think outside the box.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
