The role of the Junior Accounting Analyst is to provide financial & management accounting and transaction support to the MCBC business units. The Junior Accounting Analyst will play a supporting role in helping the finance team deliver accurate financial close and financial reporting.  


 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:



  •  Provides accounting services for various groups (such as Commercial Finance or Supply Chain Finance) related to the financial close including posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, & maintaining appropriate documentation 

  •  Provides transactional support for the Fixed Assets and Inventory ledgers 

  •  Summarize and report financial and non-financial data (qualitative)

  •  Ensures GL, balance sheet and P&L accuracy 

  •  Answers accounting and financial questions by referring to the own postings  

  •  Analyses simple accounting reports

  •  Create and update the working procedures periodically  


 

SKILLS & RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE:

Required:



  • Language Skills: Advanced English

  • Computer skills, including experience with Excel 

  • Team player /attention to details

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to build strong business relationships 


 

Preferred:



  • Experience with SAP ERP system/Blackline 

  • Previous experience in accounting field (basic)/ Economic studies (0-1 year experience)
