Head of Finance

The Head of Finance will oversee all financial activities, ensuring the financial health and strategic growth of Giftify. This role includes managing financial operations, Tax and introducing FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, strategic planning within FinTech with significant experience in managing financial operations across multiple regions and subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Team Management:
  • Lead and manage the Finance team.
  • Implement financial strategies to support company goals.
  • Establish FP&A functions to enhance financial planning.

• Financial Operations & Management:
  • Oversee accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage cash flow, financial forecasting, and financial risk management.
  • Attend client meetings to provide financial expertise on money flows.

• Strategic Planning & Analysis:
  • Develop financial models and analyses for strategic initiatives.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement improvements.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in finance, tax and FP&A.
• Proven track record of leading successful finance teams
• Setting up a finance department across multiple geographies. Experience in EMEA is a plus.
• Experience in a payment company or FinTech is an assset.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
