Field Application Engineer

We are seeking a dynamic Field Application Engineer to join our clients Energy Infrastructure Team and support the growth of our Energy Storage Solutions business across Europe. This role focuses on commercial, industrial, and Electric Vehicle (EV) charging applications, combining technical expertise with customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to sales and product marketing teams, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
• Assist in the preparation of proposals and offer expert advice on tailored energy solutions.
• Collaborate with product management and development teams to manage technical customer requirements, from specification to final acceptance.
• Stay informed on local grid codes, legislation, and industry standards to identify new market opportunities.
• Occasionally offer on-site technical support to resolve complex challenges and ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct product and service training sessions, sharing in-depth knowledge of our solutions with clients.
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of our product lines and their system integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience with Energy Storage Systems or Power Conditioning Systems.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written); additional language skills in Chinese, Dutch, or German are an advantage.
• Solid technical knowledge of system integration, particularly in Energy Storage Systems.
• Installation experience or certification to work with 1000VAC and 1500VDC systems is a plus.
