Context: 


You will be employed in the Communication and Collaboration Solutions team within the domain responsible for Digital Workplace Solutions (DWS). The main customers of this team are Proximus employees.


As a Workplace Engineer, you are responsible for managing the main communication and collaboration services used within Proximus. This includes the Microsoft 365 Environment and the LumApps intranet platform.


Role and Responsibilities: 



  • You are involved in the technical design of solutions based on business needs collected and analysed by the domain architects.

  • You implement a reliable, scalable, and flexible solution.

  • You are responsible for following up on the projects assigned to you. You ensure that everything is delivered correctly and on time. 

  • You look for creative, simple solutions and provide clear, structured documentation.

  • You participate in the implementation of releases according to Proximus' change & release management processes.

  • You propose innovative solutions that add value to the business.

  • You provide support to the operational teams.








Your Profile



  • You have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline.

  • You are eager to learn.

  • You are optimistic, creative, and open-minded.

  • You are communicative and a real team player.

  • You have an analytical mind and a critical attitude with a drive for improvement.

  • You have a passion for improving collaboration and communication between users.

  • You have practical experience in managing, supporting, and maintaining a Microsoft Office 365 tenant.

  • You have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID.

  • You have a good knowledge of programming and scripting. A good knowledge of Microsoft PowerShell is required.

  • You are proficient in Dutch or French and English.
