About The Role


This position will be based in the Woerden office and will report to the branch manager in Northern Europe. The role will be responsible for all customer service tasks such as taking and processing sales orders.


 


Key Responsibilities



  • Provide clear direction, leadership and management to the team (including remote staff), while

  • Provide accurate, timely, customer focused administration of all orders and customer emails

  • Deal with all customer telephone queries in a professional and timely manner

  • Respond to customer emails with regards to placing new orders, dealing with parts inquiries, prices and due dates

  • Ensure all new orders are entered accurately and processed accordingly

  • Have a full understanding of the whole DHL Express shipping process and the AX processing of delivery notes and invoices

  • Ensure that actual inventory correlates with electronic records, these tasks will also include aisle counts to support the stock inventory levels

  • Assist with physical improvements to the Stores area, such as layout, ergonomics etc as part of the Stores team

  • Ensure the stores' area is clean, tidy and organised at all times, making the best use of available space

  • Participate in annual stocktake and provide monthly reconciliation reports, to ensure correlation between actual stock and electronic records




Qualification and Experience



  • Customer Service or equivalent qualification would be advantageous

  • Previous experience in a customer service role is essential

  • Exposure to the manufacturing industry (specifically food and packaging) is advantageous


 


Desired Knowledge and Skills



  • A forklift license would be advantageous

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal)

  • Able to work both autonomously and as part of a team

  • Computer literacy in MS Word & Excel

  • Language skills – English and Dutch essential, German – desirable
