About the Position

The Business Development Manager will leverage the TaaS business model to grow revenue and secure contractual business for Goodyear in EMEA by growing share of account with existing customers and conquesting new target accounts. He/she is directly responsible for identifying, targeting, and developing new business opportunities for TaaS sales.


 


The Business Development Manager will develop strong strategic customer relationships, understanding the customers and continually crafting the TaaS value proposition. In addition, they will continually provide customer feedback and lessons learned to improve the Goodyear TaaS offering. 


 


The Business Development Manager will be the subject matter expert for TaaS, acting as a partner to the EMEA Commercial Fleet Mobility organization to create sustainable business growth. The Business Development Manager will influence and collaborate with the sales teams at the local level.


 


 


Responsibilities



  • Generate sales activity for the TaaS business model, either through growing share with existing fleet accounts or conquesting new customers. Communicate TaaS value proposition and act as a TaaS ambassador to the EMEA Commercial Fleet Mobility organization. Achieve TaaS business milestones (AOP) sales.

  • Drive ongoing customer relationship management through the contract life cycle. Ensure customers are satisfied with Goodyear TaaS offering, including providing benefits realization reports to customers and providing real-time customer feedback to adapt our offer and continuously enhance the value proposition.

  • Assist Fleet Mobility Sales organization, including Key Account Managers (KAMs), etc., in finding, growing, and supporting new fleet opportunities with TaaS.


 


 


Education and Experience



  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing &/or engineering

  • MBA, preferred

  • 7 years of sales experience – preferably in a business-to-business sales environment

  • Experience managing strategic customer relationships

  • Experience with tire management business models

  • Experience in tire, retread & transportation industry preferred


 


 


Knowledge and Skills



  • Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Expert in solutions-based selling

  • Strong time management skills, negotiation, and consultative skills

  • Effective customer relationship management

  • Leadership by influence and effective collaboration

  • Able to travel across an extended geographical territory

  • Language skills (English mandatory, other EU language is an asset)
