Role: GCP - Business Development Manager

Work location: Munich, Germany

What you’ll do:

This requirement is part of the fast growing EMEA GCP business and reporting directly to the Head of the EMEA GCP Business Leader. As a Business Development Manager , you will be responsible for the end to end sales cycle from building sales pipeline to successfully converting the opportunity to closure. This role also involves fostering strong relationships with Google Cloud Partner, Sales and Customer Engineering teams and direct clients understanding their needs, and developing tailored solutions to meet their objectives.

You will collaborate with cross functional teams( across AI, Data & Analytics, Machine Learning, Cloud Infrastructure, ) to deliver high-quality winning proposals and ensure client satisfaction throughout the engagement process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage prospective customer engagement opportunities generated from our marketing, BD, Partner sourced activities.

  • Responsible for deal review & qualification, engaging with the practice and presales teams to identify and map the requirements.

  • Lead the sales cycle and front end all communications and work with practice teams to provide a high quality winning proposal, pricing, to negotiations and closing the deal.

  • For existing customer work with the Go-to-Market teams and prepare the plan for account growth by creating account plans and focus on expanding the current footprint with account

  • Actively understand each customer’s technology footprint, strategic growth plans, business drivers, landscape, and how Quantiphi solutions deliver value

  • Build and deepen executive relationships with enterprise customers and bring to Quantiphi your mature cross-functional relationships to help us grow into new organizations.

  • Lead account strategy in generating and developing business growth opportunities, working collaboratively with Internal GTM teams and our alliance partners - all to maximize business results in territory and open up opportunities with large enterprise customers

  • Actively managing and leading the Statement of Work (SoW) process

  • Responsible for all the deals in the regions, leading sales review meetings and ensuring compliance around CRM, deal processes and legal process.

Basic Qualifications:

Three to Six years of Experience in:

  • End to end Services sales in Data, Cloud, and/ or AI Services handling multiple deals at the same time

  • Working with Cloud Providers / familiar with Hyperscalers’ ecosystems (Preferred: Google Cloud Platform)

  • Having basic conceptual knowledge of Data / Cloud / AI Technology

  • Having a proven record of achieving and exceeding 6 figure Services Sales and Revenue Targets with enterprise customers

  • “Ownership Mindset” and having the ability to hustle / navigate complex scenarios during sales cycle

  • Prior Hunter/ Business Development experience

  • German & English Business language proficiency

Other Qualifications:

  • Ability to influence decisions at the executive level and partner with clients to understand their organizational needs and recommend solutions that add value to their business

  • Knowledge of/experience with structured sales methodologies (e.g. The Challenger Sale, Strategic Selling, Solution Selling, SPIN, Power-Based Selling, Target Account Selling)

  • Excellent collaboration and team-building skills

  • Excellent communication, articulation, abstraction, analytical and presentations skills

  • Executive demeanor and experience working with C-level executives

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a dynamic and time-sensitive work environment

  • Knowledge and willingness to learn and apply emerging trends in business research, data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and Cloud

  • University degree/College Diplomas OR equivalent work experience

  • Travel to customer sites, conferences and other related events as required - up to 50%
