Job description

For one of our customers, the company Logitail in Mechelen, we are looking for a Business Development Manager. As the BDM you will play an important role in driving the success of our organization by promoting and delivering cutting-edge ERP solutions based on the Oracle NetSuite platform, starting from lead generation to effective sales management. The ideal candidate will have a master's level education, preferable a background in IT but above all, the ability to establish and grow a network and sell risk-bearing projects to medium enterprises.


Logitail, part of the Cronos group, specializes in implementing, maintaining, and supporting Oracle Netsuite ERP solutions, designed to enhance our clients' sales, operations, company management and administration simultaneously.

Their unique approach involves a thorough understanding and documentation of their clients' business processes during implementation. This enables them to leverage the standard functionalities of the software efficiently, customizing only where necessary. We love the new Business Development Manager to:

  • Be the gatekeeper of industry trends and changing market conditions to align strategic sales plans. Explore and identify new market opportunities for business growth.
  • Establish and maintain a strong network within sector organizations and attend conferences and association events.
  • Develop and implement effective lead generation strategies and engage in prospecting activities to expand the client base.
  • Conduct negotiations with future clients to secure profitable deals and close sales transactions to achieve the set targets/goals. This is done by developing detailed project proposals.
  • Act as an integration partner, overseeing implementation processes and build long term relationships as a trusted business partner.
  • Work collaboratively within the management team by developing and implementing sales strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Establishing our brand in the market through high end sales presentations and marketing efforts using social media, write specific blogs, launch campaigns and find new distributions channels etc
  • Monitor and manage operational sales and the people management of a future sales team after expansion of the company.



Requirements

You are or you have

  • A master's degree
  • 5 to 15 years of sales (and marketing) experience
  • A strong background in IT/ORACLE/ERP solutions or within an IT engineering environment within a production site or the strong will to dive into the unknown and make it your goal to become our sales expert.
  • Proficient in Dutch, English and French
  • Experienced in selling high-end risk-bearing projects
  • The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
  • Superior time management and organizational skills
  • Experience in targeting medium to large sized businesses and experienced in communicating with C-level clients
