Are you ready for a sneak-peek regarding the main tasks of a Back Office Engineer in Netcompany-Intrasoft?

• Operational tasks on Oracle Directory server 11.1.1.7.0 and OpenLDAP
  • Stop / Start LDAP server
  • Replication tasks (stop, start, resync, ssl)
  • Perform LDAP query & indexing jobs
  • Troubleshooting via access, audit, error logs
  • Backup of running instance & restore instance from backup
  • Schema & ACI updates
• Infrastructure related tasks
  • Upgrade LDAP server to new version
  • Patch the server, install and configure new ones 
• Monitoring tasks
  • Abilities to monitor the LDAP servers via homemade scripts
• Scripting tasks
  • Write new scripts bash, ksh, perl and improve current ones
• Operating systems 
  • Linux RedHat 6.5 & 8
• Middleware
  • Oracle Weblogic & Tomcat server
• Integration tools
  • Git, Bamboo & Nexus
• Administrative tasks :
  • Create & manage incidents/request for service/request for info
  • Create and lead change management (tickets, procedure, documentation)
  • Create/update documentation & Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)

What would make you a fit for the role:

• At least 6 years of experience in UNIX / Oracle infrastructure environments
• Good spoken and written knowledge of English & French
• ITIL V3 foundation certification 

What is an important asset for this role: 

• Experience with:
  • European Commission
  • Prince2 / PM² methodologies 
  • Ticketing system (Service Now)
  • CHANGE & RELEASE Management 
  • SharePoint as user

Soft skills: 

• Ability to adapt to changes quickly
• Punctual, meticulous and reliable
• Analytical and systematic approach to problem solving
