As a Backend Engineer, you will help us build the next generation of our data ingestion layer while maintaining our existing service that delivers value to hundreds of customers over thousands of assets. The team owns a full stack service, from devices in the field to visualization on the UI. We want to deliver a delightful experience, yet secure and reliable, ensuring that every aspect of our service meets and exceeds expectations.

Your responsibilities as Backend Engineer (m/f/d):
· Lead engineering best practices across the team.
· Build and maintain the next generation of our IOT data ingestion layer.
· Maintain existing services supporting our applications and integrations.
· Work autonomously to balance your priorities and make an impact for our customers while maintaining and advancing a complex system over time.
· Participate in continuously improving our methods, practices, architecture, and technical decisions.
Your qualifications as Backend Engineer (m/f/d):
· Senior-level skills in backend engineering, .Net C#, Node, and its ecosystem, with strong knowledge of OOA, OOD principles, design patterns and coding best practices.
· Experience building and maintaining distributed systems with REST APIs, microservices and asynchronous messaging operating in a cloud environment.
· Experience with relational and non-relational databases, cloud architectures, and event-sourced, reactive systems.
· Affinity to quality, testing, and continuous delivery. Agile and DevOps mindset.
· You are passionate about technology and strive for best practices while being pragmatic on effort vs customer value of your deliverables.
